PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS JOURNAL

Journal Entry: Sat Jul 5, 2008, 7:51 PM
This journal is a test to be sure that everyone is receiving the journals.

All you need to do is confirm that you got it by commenting below!

I'll be updating this journal on July 7th, and I'd also very much appreciate if you commented on that one as well to be sure that the problem isn't in updating the journals as opposed to putting out new ones.

Please try to respond to at least the second journal by July 14th, otherwise it will be assumed that you did not recieve it.

Thank you so much again for all your cooperation, and for bearing with us while we try and figure this out!

July's Contest!

Journal Entry: Sat Jul 5, 2008, 1:02 PM
Alright, we have a theme for this month!

That theme is Reclaiming in any sense of the word. Submissions will be accepted through July 27th (that's the last day they'll be accepted) and then voting will begin.

Remember, submissions do not need to be new! See what you've already got, that's all we need :D

In order to send in an entry, comment anywhere besides the front page or leave a note.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated last month!! :D

-----------------------------------------------

Welcome to Deviantsclub! Basically what we do is set up contests every month into which you send in a max of three pictures that hold whatever theme happens to be going at the time. After about a month, we stop accepting entries and start voting! Whoever wins gets their deviation put in our gallery and has the option of choosing the theme for the next month as well! Pretty cool, no? :D

In order to submit though, you need to be a member. But that’s relatively simple. All you have to do is 1. Watch us and 2. Send us a note asking to be a part of the club.

You don’t need to be a member to vote though.

Hope to see you around!

And the winner of the Growth-themed contest for June is...

Congratulations, Kailean! :D

Please send a note to us titled July by July 5th if you are interested in picking the theme for this month!

Winner of May's Contest/Theme for June

Journal Entry: Sun Jun 1, 2008, 7:50 AM
And we have a winner!! It was a very close count this time, but here it is...

:iconaura3107: - L,O,L,A, Lola...

Congratulations, =Aura3107!! :D

Thank you to everyone who voted this month!

The theme for June is Growth. Again, your deviations do not need to be brand new, just see what you've already got! We will be accepting entries until June 25th (that's the last day we're taking them) and voting will begin June 26th.

Leave your entries anywhere except the front page, and they will be posted! You are allowed a maximum of three submissions.

On another note, as I mentioned in the previous journal, there's been a relatively obvious dwindle in participation.

PLEASE give us some input! Tell us what you want to see happen differently! What would get you to be a little more involved? I know American schools are about to let out, so this could just be because of that end-of-school crunch and maybe summer will allow people more time, but I'd still like to know what you think could be better!

Thank you so much :D

Winner of April's Contest/Theme for May

Journal Entry: Sun May 4, 2008, 12:42 PM
Congratulations to *revrendwilliam!! Your deviation will be added to the gallery, and if somehow we can think of a better reward...we'll work on that too. If anyone has any ideas for that, feel free to pitch in!

Check out the winning deviation in the link below!

THE THEME FOR MAY is Curiosity

Remember that your deviations do not need to be new! Just scan through the gallery you already have and see if you've got anything already. Entries will be accepted until May 26th (that's the last day to enter) after which voting will proceed until the 31st.

Thank you guys so much for participating, I really appreciate it
